One of my favorite desserts! Yours looks perfect!

  2. Brooke,

It was SO good to see you at the Bakesale!! I have to say that I am thoroughly enjoying your posts on baking and see you blossom as an accomplished baker!!! Like you, it’s always been hard for me to ask for help – but I am going to print out this post to re read every time I find myself backing away from something because I am too afraid to ask for help.

This tart is beautiful… and so are you!!!

      Nancy,
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. Asking for help is a good thing! We just have to remember that reaching out to others isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s a sign of inner strength and humility. xoxox, Brooke

I’ve made the recipe based on Bon Appetit as well, and came out with a lovely piece. And you’re right! This crust couldn’t be easier.

What a beautiful dessert and an inspiring story about the change in your “equation”. It’s amazing what we can do and how we grow when we take a little leap into the unknown.
